In the continuing tale of the Writivism Festival that will be rocking Kampala, Uganda next week lets give you another gig to look forward to; the African Authors Google Hangout with JamesMurua.com on Thursday 21st June. This time round the authors who will be chatting with us are;
Abubakar Adam Ibrahim – The opinion of the Goodreads readers of the book (I haven’t finishing reading it just well; will be done by next Thursday).
The discussions will centre around the festival they are attending and why they are there. I will also be interested to know what they think of the delicious treat of dried grasshopper I have only encountered in Kampala.
With others events at the Writivism festival, you have to wait for people who are at the event to tell you what happened at the event to give you feedback via the usual social media channels. With this event all you need to do is log onto Google, download the Hangout software and voila. You are in.
The hangout will be happening at 11am GMT again.
Note: The previous hangout with was not as successful because of technical issues including not setting my Hangout to be saved for later viewing, a bad network and a crashing Netbook (twice). We shan’t be having none of that after studying the Google Hangout system in depth the day after.
