Saraba one of the pioneer magazines where the literary game online is concerned founded by Dami Ajayi and Emmanuel Iduma is celebrating its seventh year. To celebrate this, our friends from Saraba have just unleashed their latest issue, the eighteenth one, and this one is called The Crime Issue. There’s a wonderful addition to this latest edition; it comes with a free poetry chapbook.
In The Crime Issue, Arthur Anyaduba writes a compelling piece of creative nonfiction on an African in Winnipeg who takes the law into his hands; Katung Kwasu reflects on coordinating a literacy program in a Nigerian prison, followed by a memoir by Sagir Lawal and an inmate in the prison. There is also fiction by ‘Pemi Aguda (the Writivism winner from last year) and Moses Kilolo famous as an editor with Jalada.
Then there is poetry by Nneoma Nwankwo, Obiaderi Agholor, Stephen Derwent Parington, Awoyemi Ayomide and Sihle Ntuli. For more on this exciting new book click here –> Download.
