The Kampala International Book Fair 2014 is set to happen in Kampala, Uganda on 12-15th March. The fair will see many heads of renowned publishing houses, agents, sales personnel, foreign rights representatives, editors and authors participate. Basically anyone involved with books.
If you are in Kampala at the time you will access several things including a stake holder forum, children reading tents, a digital tent and more. One of the biggest things that should emerge from this event will be one of the biggest literary prizes in that part of the world the Nabotu prize. This prize set up by the National Book Trust of Uganda (Nabotu). Has prizes and everything so you want to submit your stories. The event will be hosted at the Lugogo Grounds.
