The Uganda International Writers Conference 2017 was hosted at the Fairway Hotel from March 6-8, 2017. The events in the East African capital saw writers, publishers and other interested parties take part in discussions about the business of publishing in Africa. Some of those who featured at this conference include Bibi Bakare-Yusuf, Laban Erapu, Lemn Sissay, Kemiyondo Coutinho, Dominica Diplo, Rosebell Kagumire and a host of many more.
