Issue 3 of DRR (Down River Road) with the theme “Asphyxia” was unveiled to the public on July 7, 2021.
DRR (Down River Road) founded by writer, editor, and poet Clifton Gachagua and journalist and writer Franklin Sunday is an online and print journal that publishes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and ideas. The publication which was launched in February last year has unveiled their newest edition under the theme “Asphyxia.” Series editors Anointing Obuh and Alvin Kathembe introduce it to their readers saying;
“drr is proud to present Issue 3, our third issue in two years. Quite the journey as we continue to learn. We took a different approach to this edition, having started work on it at the beginning of 2020 as worlds many of us knew abruptly shifted. We didn’t have a call out for this. This time we reached out to writers, friends and friends of friends, asking them to think with us in this moment of asphyxia.”
