Borno Book and Arts Festival 2022 for Nigeria

Borno Book and Arts Festival 2022 is set to happen in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria from November 23 – 27, 2022. The theme is “Narratives.”

Borno Book and Arts Festival is the maiden festival of arts and creativity happening in Borno State, celebrating arts, culture, storytelling, and creativity in the state. The festival presents activities in the form of panel discussions, workshops, poetry, and local musical performances, art exhibition, cultural display, and a book drive.

The maiden theme “Narratives”, seeks to have discussions around issues that promote positive narratives of the Borno state, its people, creativity, culture, and literature while erasing negative narratives such as the extremists’ narratives that have bedeviled the state. While creating a safe space for creatives, professionals, and thinkers to dialogue across changing the narratives of Borno as a recovering community in areas of education, arts, tech, entrepreneurship, politics, culture, media, health, development, and many more subjects.

Guests will include authors, poets, singers, and artists from all parts of Borno State and environ will attend the festival.
