Alone and other Zambian Stories, a new anthology of short stories by Zambian writers, was launched at Grey Matter Zambia, Lusaka on July 6, 2019.
Alone and other Zambian Stories a new anthology made its appearance on the African literary scene this past week. The anthology has short stories from Zambian writers Ingrid Nayame, Henry Joe Sakala, Grace Kubikisha, Jennipher M. Zulu, Jacob Stone, Mukandi Siame, Mutinta Nanchengwa, Taffy Lamba, and Natasha Chitimbe.
The title story of the new anthology Alone was written by Luka Mwango the promising writer, poet and screenwriter who tragically passed away on September 26, 2018. The book, which was in production when Mwango was still alive, finally saw the light of day at a ceremony at the Grey Matter Zambia at the East Park Mall in Lusaka. The book is dedicated to the late Mwango.
The launch featured a signing ceremony with Jennipher M. Zulu, Grace Kubikisha, and Ingrid Nayame who featured in the new anthology.
