The winners for the African Christian Authors Book Awards were announced in a ceremony in Nairobi on Saturday, November 27, 2021.
The African Christian Authors Book Award program were set up to recognise and promote quality in Christian authorship in East Africa. Presented annually to Christian authors, the Award program celebrates the “best of the year” in 10 categories. Five finalists are chosen in each category unless there is a tie. The Winner in each category is announced and awarded at African Christian Authors Gala held at CLC Kenya’s Family Reading Picnic each year.
The nominees for 2021 in the different categories were announced on Thursday, June 10 before the winners were announced at a gala in Nairobi. The full list of winners for the awards are;

The Young Category – Dear Little Sister, Daisy Kosgey Mugiira
The Family Category – Keys to a Great Marriage, Dr Sammy Gitaari
Women Category – The Diamond Underneath, Margaret A. Vidolo
Business-Finance Category – Managing Your Finances God’s Way, Gladys Juma
Missions Category – Nuggets to Live By, Rei Towet Kesis
Christian Living Category – Inspired by Forty, Richard Mwebesa
Christian Living Category – Taking Possession with Jesus, Faith N. Mathenge
Christian Living Category – In Search Of Sanity, Musinguzi Begumisa
Christian Living Category – Accountability, a Biblical Principle, Nelly Kagoru
Culture Category – The Grand Love Story of all Time, Joyce Maina
