Nigerian poet Chijioke Amu Nnadi is something of legend in the poetry business. He is the winner of the 2002 ANA Poetry Prize (the fire within), 2013 ANA Poetry Prize (through the window of a sandcastle) and 2014 Glenna Luschei Prize for African Poetry (through the window of a sandcastle).

Amu Nnadi will be doing a reading from his new poetry collection A Field of Echoes on Saturday at the HAS Multipurpose Hall, M. I. Wushishi Estate, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.

The collection with over two hundred and thirty (230) poems and about three hundred sixty (300) pages is expected to be the largest single collection of poetry ever published in Africa.

The renowned novelist and former Deputy Vice Chancellor, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Zaynab Alkali will be the guest of honour while Associate Professor Emmanuel Egya Sule, the Dean of Faculty of Languages will be the Chairman.
